S³ Inc. has an immediate opening for a PGMR System Engineer to support projects on Redstone Arsenal, AL.

Description:

The PGMR System Engineer will provide System Engineering expertise directly to the Precision Guided Munitions and Rockets (PGMR) Chief Engineer for all munition products within that portfolio and is located within the System Engineering and Integration Division, Engineering Directorate, Strategic and Operational Rockets and Missiles (STORM) Project Office.

Responsibilities:

• Will initially focus on the prime contractor's Guided MLRS (GMLRS) system and its variants/development upgrades to include Extended-range GMLRS (ERG), Enhanced Alternate Warhead (EAW), component development, and production activities, as required by the PGMR Chief Engineer.
• May be required to support other PGMR Systems Engineering activities.
• Must be capable to assist with maintaining configuration control over complex development and integration schedules (roadmaps) to ensure no gaps in production, while working with the various SMEs in the Technology & Hardware Branch, obsolescence and requirement support teams in the Systems Requirements & Integration Branch, and across the other Engineering Directorate Divisions.
• Coordinates and communicates with other support teams external to STORM and the Prime.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) from an accredited school and twelve (12) years of relevant experience In lieu of four year degree, must have a total of twenty (20) years of relevant experience.
• 12 years of experience in positions in Government programs or areas related to the Defense Acquisition process.
• Must possess expertise within program integration, contracts, risk management, requirements development, and long-range planning.
• Must be proficient in System Engineering discipline and have knowledge of STORM programs.
• 2 or more years of experience supporting guided missile programs, supporting configuration control and schedule validation, responding to internal and external taskers, supporting risk management and requirements development, and with program integration and planning.
• 3 or more years of experience coordinating between functional areas.
• DoD secret or higher clearance or ability to obtain an interim clearance in reasonable timeframe.
