Associate Project Manager at Viant Technology in Irvine, California

Job Description:

Viant is seeking a talented Associate Project Manager to join our Platform Automation team in Irvine. In this dynamic role, the Associate Project Manager will be instrumental in building the next generation of Viant's Advanced Reporting offerings.

The Associate Project Manager will work directly with our Data Analyst, Technical Account Managers, Sales Engineering, Business Development, and Product Marketing teams to create solutions that solve clients' challenges and enhance their ability to meet business goals through measurement. The Associate Project Manager will also build new measurement offerings, while maintaining and improving existing offerings.

Responsibilities:

• Translate key stakeholders' vision into a thoughtfully prioritized, documented, and executable plan for the data analyst teams


• Project plan new proof of concept measurement offerings for high value clients


• Prototype new measurement offerings with Sales Engineering and Technical Account Management teams


• Ensure smooth rollout of new measurement offerings through effective communication, documentation, and training


• Work closely with support team on any data troubleshooting needs


• Define and track success metrics for new and existing products, ensuring all are moving towards user acceptance and revenue growth

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Administration, or similar discipline preferred


• Basic SQL and API competency


• Experience with Google Big Query, Google Cloud Storage, Amazon S3, and/or Tableau preferred


• Experience with data onboarding, multi-touch attribution, or conversion attribution a plus

Key Competencies:

• Excellent skills in planning, organizing, coordinating, and prioritizing across cross-functional teams


• Ability to analyze data and trends, identify and diagnose potential problems, and recommend solutions in a timely manner


• General understanding of writing code, database functionality, and product marketing


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
