Role


Responsible for overseeing the daily production of contracts and/or other document deliverables life cycle stages of prepare through sign from a regional as well as national perspective. Manage the team that ensures deliverables are legally sufficient and comply with company standards and customer expectations.  Continuously develop and advance the strategic and tactical goals of the business as impacted by trends in the industry including changes in rules, regulations, terms, and conditions related to contract development and execution. 


 


Responsibilities



  • Strategically partner with business partners and customers, from a regional and national perspective, to forecast and manage the contract development life cycle (prepare through sign) and other document deliverable timelines to ensure deliverable targets are achieved.

  • Serve as a liaison, building strong relationships and identifying best practices and provide support in contract negotiations as a contract matter expert.

  • Partner closely with the sales team to develop and execute deliverable strategies, complex contract strategies, business processes, and associated system and reporting requirements.

  • Collaborate to ensure the overall quality and legal sufficiency of contracts and/or other document deliverables are compliant with company standards, customer expectations, and achievement of business targets are realized. 

  • Review and analyze production activities and operational reports to establish and maintain staffing levels and ensure alignment with production volumes. 

  • Continuously identify and implement innovative solutions in anticipation of, and in response to, changing business conditions, in alignment with business goals to improve systems/processes, analytical capabilities, and compliance oversight.

  • Assess administrative feasibility of deliverable and contract strategies, including interfacing with customers, making recommendations for deliverable process strategies, and monitoring ongoing results. 

  • Manage performance of employees, which includes personnel decisions regarding hiring, compensation, individual coaching and development, promotions, and discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policies.

  • Empower employees to expedite contract and other document deliverables and facilitate final signature of agreements to secure revenues.

 


 


Expectations 


  • Able to pivot swiftly to meet organizational or company vision

  • Previous negotiation experience

  • Knowledge of complex contract terms and conditions

  • Experience with real estate leasing/contract development, execution, and issues management

  • Sales Experience preferred

  • Ability to take ideas and turn them into pilots

 


Education/Certifications  



  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field preferred

  • Juris Doctorate is a plus

 


Experience/Minimum Requirements  



  • Five (5) years of experience in business operations and/or contract management, real estate processes, legal document development, production environment or related field.

Reports to: Senior Manager, Contract Development 


  


Title(s) of direct reports (if applicable): Contract Specialists and Contract Coordinators


  


Working Conditions: This role falls into our hybrid work model working in your assigned office approximately 60% of the time (3 days per week) and where you do your best work 40% (2 days per week).  There is an expectation of collaboration with teammates and stakeholders for moments that matter that could require up to 25% travel.
