Job Description:

We are looking for an Operations Learning & Support Services Consultant at our New Hope, MN facility. This individual coordinates, develops and implements a training process which will build capability of employees, partners with content experts on the design and development of various training materials and programs, facilitates training courses on various topics/projects and manages projects.

Major Duties:


  • Develops exempt and hourly team member training programs, including design, content, delivery, equipment, and program testing.
  • Delivers training and leadership development on existing material and continues to enhance existing curriculum and works with subject matter experts on the revisions and maintenance of programs. Educates trainees on policies and procedures of the company, gives instruction on necessary skills and information needed to perform their duties, evaluate trainees, and communicates with management on their development.
  • Assist Production Management with Daily production tasks, Quality Events, Continuous Improvement projects and Investigations.
  • Generates reports from training and development databases, including pre-and post-assessment reports and other quality data.
  • Seeks team member feedback on training materials through surveys and interviews.
  • Secures and schedules internal and external program sites, equipment, educational/training media, and ancillary services.

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Minimum of two years of training and development experience in a manufacturing environment, including some experience presenting to groups of employees.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Administration, Organizational Development, Adult Education, BIS, Industrial Psychology, or other relevant field, or equivalent combination of education and experience in program administration.
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience and multi-cultural experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct classroom training for employees on work related subjects.
  • Strong knowledge of e-learning technologies and adult learning principles and practices.
  • Experience managing and implementing projects.
  • Adult Learning Theory (Train the Trainer, ADDIE, Measurement, etc.)
  • Instructional Design experience preferred.
  • Facilitation experience required.
  • Leadership Development experience preferred.
  • Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent customer service, organizational, oral and written communications skills.
  • Significant experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Access and Outlook).
