Security Supervisor at Caesars Entertainment in Black Hawk, Colorado

Job Description:

The Security Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the activities of the security shift which provides safety and protects all patrons, employees and company assets.

Pay Rate: $45,000 to $47,000/yr

Role Responsibilities:

• Ensure the safety and security of all employees and customers. Supervise programs and processes to reduce and control loss time injuries.
• Review staffing levels to maintain full coverage of posts. Delegate authority and assign responsibilities.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality relative to financial data, casino policies, security activities, and projects.
• Thorough achievement of performance goals.
• Management abilities demonstrated in managing security operational effectiveness.
• Willingness to assume responsibility relative to the performance of the shift.
• Management of departmental budget and goals
• Effective management of staff.
• Accuracy in completing assigned duties, paperwork and giving reports to Security Manager
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Two to five years' experience as a security officer or law enforcement agent with a 2-year degree in related fields or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to maintain mental concentration for significant periods of time.
• Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressures in an interruptive environment.

Physical and Mental Demands:

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Ability to push, pull, twist, and lift to 30lbs.
• Use of elevator, escalator, and stairs.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced physically demanding environment.
• The work environment may include smoke and variable temperature, lighting, and noise levels.
