This position will be responsible for serving as the cross-functional co-Pilot to Demand Teams. This role is responsible for partnering with internal decision makers, driving visibility to the market, and answering questions for the business. What are we looking for?
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent degree in a field of study related to this job
Demonstrated knowledge of Insights and Marketing Strategy
Experience across a variety of market intelligence tools, including syndicated data, secondary data, primary research.
7+ years experience in a marketing role, at least 3 years with strategic influence
Preferred Qualifications
Masters Degree in Business / Marketing

What will be your key responsibilities?
Serve as voice of the market for RCUS.
Key Stakeholders include the North American Leadership Team, Transversal Demand leaders, Brand Marketing, Shopper Marketing, Category Managers.
Inform internal business owners on key trends and market activity to drive decision-making
Leverage market data to formulate comprehensive POVs to generate KNOWLEDGE and ACTION for the organization on areas such as but not limited to: market trends, brand position and opportunities, claims, competitive activity, demand planning.
Develop compelling briefs to communicate key information to the business to influence and drive action.
Active voice in innovation pipeline and sizing of opportunities
Identify and fill in knowledge gaps where needed
Identify the best way to fill knowledge gaps. This may include market data (such as Nielsen), secondary / desk research, primary research, etc.
Generate compelling and actionable stories to influence internal decisions and win influence with customers in the omni environment
Customer-facing when necessary but not as first priority
Support and consult on shopper efforts based on category dynamics (brick and mortar or digital)
Deliver quarterly strategic competitive reporting to Sr Leadership
Work collaboratively with Market Analyst to ensure data-driven POVs
Partner with Category to ensure key insights flow through to customer interactions
Where relevant, consult or lead on key transformative projects, such as Shopper Experience
Maintain "one source of truth" on market knowledge - such as pet population, shopper habits, petographics.
Specific examples of deliverables might include: 1) comprehensive analysis of our wet / dry attachment opportunity, including how we compare to competition, our barriers, and suggestion action items. 2) Identification of opportunities to drive stronger retention of P/K owners and persuasive business case to drive action. 3) Co-piloting with a marketing team to fill knowledge gaps for strategic planning.
This role will focus on the recommender market, but work hand-in-hand with the Assistant Manager of Market Intelligence for a total market perspective and to develop that associate's skillset. .
