As the Inside Sales Representative , you will nurture relationships with existing clients. Your ability to communicate and problem solve with ensure the customers are always satisfied with our delivery and that our internal teams always have what they need to execute for the customer. 


RESPONSIBILITIES: 



  • Responsible for day to day customer relationships 

  • Initiating quotes, tracking and assisting with setup of newly awarded parts

  • Order processing & maintenance in a “make to order” manufacturing environment 

  • Will develop an in-depth understanding of assigned customer’s business cycles and market trends in order to build sales forecasts and customer specific reports 

  • Coordinates daily with production scheduling, inventory control and shipping departments 

  • Responsible for customer schedule change requests / address shortages and overages of production orders

  • Assist with quarterly price changes

  • Assist with aged inventory

  • Assist with AR issues

  • Track back orders, provide communication for expedited freight situations

  • Research and assist in correcting EDI or shipping errors

  • Provide quarterly steel forecasts based on customer requirements

  • Order and Track customer specific returnable container inventory

  • Monitor customer AE ratings


QUALIFICATIONS: 



  • Must have excellent communication skills 

  • Experience working with and building Excel spreadsheets 

  • Ability to work in a fast pace environment. 

  • Steel industry knowledge a plus. 

  • Minimum 3 years account manager experience required
