AVP, E&O Practice, Cyber Team at Allied World in San Francisco, California

Job Description:

Job Objectives:

Underwrite both new and renewal technology errors and omissions, privacy/security liability and miscellaneous E&O insurance business. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Analyze and evaluate errors and omissions risks


• Develop and manage broker relationships


• Analyze potential clients and present evaluations at daily group discussions


• Maintain and begin to develop broker relationships throughout the country


• Maintain a renewal retention rate of at least 90%


• Assist group in meeting monthly and annual production goals


• Develop new underwriters as our group grows;


• Attend appropriate training sessions and conferences when deemed appropriate;


• Assist with special projects as needed under supervision of management


• Responsible for developing new business production and broker relationships.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of underwriting experience


• Bachelor’s degree (BBA preferred)


• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high pressure environment


• Excellent marketing, negotiating and communication skills


• Strong technical and marketing expertise


• General computer and office suite skills


• Willingness to travel
