TK Elevator is seeking a Contract Analyst in Atlanta, GA.
Responsible for booking and preparing New Construction and Modernization Contract documents for execution; includes entering data in Oracle system, making copies/ scans, and issuing certificates of insurance. Must establish & maintain a professional rapport through timely response to customers, both internal and external, & Contract Analyst(s).
Essential Job Functions
Uses high level analytical skills and/or abilities to visually review customer contracts, terms, and general conditions for legal interpretation, problem areas, etc. Prepares amendments incorporating business/judgments decisions into language satisfactory to protect Company interests.
Assists in training new personnel, including educating branch personnel regarding certain legal matters that may impact company operations.
Uses moderate to high level analytical skills and/or abilities to review/approve/improve contractual language for bids/contracts to be submitted by field offices. Advises field office of exceptions/clarifications to be taken. Requires use of oral and written communication.
Executes contracts, amendments, bids, and quoted repair documents.
Uses relatively high degree of concentration to make and receive phone calls regarding negotiations of amended contract terms and contract interpretations utilizing moderate/high level of business judgment for closure of negotiated items. Requires use of oral and written communication.
Receives, visually reviews, and sends miscellaneous correspondence to and from customers, external and internal. Requires use of personal computer.
Uses moderate level of concentration to assist staff with areas of concern by utilizing case studies, internal reports and policy enforcement.
Performs other various job duties as may be assigned.
Who we are looking for
Bachelor's degree or equivalent with training in accounting and business and/or contract law
Five or more years work experience in contract analysis and administration
Requires knowledge of business and contract law
Ability to speak and write in a clear and understandable manner for internal/external relations
Understand complex verbal and written instructions
Understand data processing applications
Requires relatively high degree of concentration and attention to detail
Ability to negotiate acceptable contract language approximately 80% of time
