Account Executive, Xbox - Assembly // Full-Time

This role is to be based from Seattle, WA; San Francisco, CA; Los Angeles, CA; Portland, OR

This position requires strong account management, project management and execution skills, an interest in driving earned global coverage and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment. We're seeking an adaptable, high-energy candidate with strong communication skills who can provide a high level of client service; this person will be responsible for supporting account performance on several cross-team initiatives with inter-agency management. While not a formal requirement, a working knowledge of the video game industry is a plus.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:


    • Work directly with senior level staff to support day-to-day client work on news announcements, launches, virtual and in-person events, interviews and seeding programs by contributing to the development and execution of plans, fielding and responding to inquiries, developing messages, coordinating interviews, drafting briefing books and securing marquee press and creator coverage worldwide

    • Serve as a liaison between clients and agency partners around the world, proactively connecting the dots between plans and coordinating those plans across markets

    • Manage multiple simultaneous projects from conception to completion by anticipating challenges, troubleshooting problems, proposing solutions, offering client counsel, and ensuring deadline adherence

    • Manage comprehensive coverage reporting worldwide by preparing accurate and timely client-facing reports and providing thoughtful analysis and feedback on results

    • Consistently produce high quality internal and external communications, and contribute to creation of communications plans that meet client objectives

    • Push for creative ideas and new thinking; be purposeful and enterprising in problem-solving

    • Aptitude to develop an understanding of clients' businesses and their missions as well as their key stakeholders: gamers, media, creators, developers, analysts, etc.

    • Build level-appropriate understanding of industry trends and the media and competitive landscapes across global markets and how they impact clients

    • Contribute to the team spirit on the account

    • Ensure work and relationships are founded on open and honest communication; listens and asks the right questions during day-to-day work; upholds creative, ethical and legal standards

    • Take responsibility for personal growth and improvement of leadership skills using available resources, such as Edelman Learning Institute, on-the-job training and mentoring

Basic Qualifications:


    • At least a year of relevant experience in communications, public relations, marketing or related fields, including research, advertising, management consulting, media or publishing, preferably in an agency setting


Preferred Qualifications:


    • At least a year of relevant experience in an agency setting

    • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field from an accredited college or university

    • Action-oriented with the ability to manage multiple small or medium-sized projects simultaneously

    • Strong writing, editing, strategic thinking and research skills, including the ability to communicate clearly and concisely

    • Strong interpersonal skills with the capability of interacting with clients and partner agency team members professionally with an eye towards building and maintaining strong relationships

    • Ability to gather and synthesize key information to make decisions and develop recommendations for clients and wider project teams

    • Demonstrated ability to help develop communication programming and implement integrated tactics

    • Able to perform well under pressure, think ten steps ahead, be a team player and effectively motivate and manage teams

    • Ability to develop understanding of the clients' businesses and their missions, as well as their key stakeholders: consumers, employees, investors, media, vendors, partners, other businesses/organizations, etc.

    • Showcase a desire to learn, collaborate, maintain high energy and a strong work ethic
