As a Software Manager within PNC's Enterprise Data Management Technology organization. This is a remote position and can sit anywhere within the PNC footprint, except for Colorado, Hawaii or Alaska. There is limited expectation for regular in person, in office activities.

• Manage team of developers responsible for the agile delivery of enterprise API’s
• Work with Product Owner to ensure timely delivery of scope per release schedule
• Collaborate with solution and application architects, infrastructure team, and support partners to deliver releases in alignment with architectural and supportability standards
• Work closely with application consumers to facilitate an optimal customer experience and use of EDS capabilities

Job Description

• Manages development projects, development teams and application support functions.


• Oversees multiple application programming and analysis projects which include development, installation and maintenance of application programs.


• Monitors and maintains adherence and compliance to quality standards on an ongoing basis.


• Maximizes staff contribution through professional growth and development, to increase teamwork and more effectively meet business needs.


• Analyzes applications to ensure that all systems that are developed, meet business needs and specifications.

Application Delivery Process – Knowledge of major tasks, deliverables, and formal application delivery methodologies; ability to utilize these in order to deliver new or enhanced applications.

Application Development Tools – Knowledge of and ability to utilize a variety of specific tools and toolkits for the development and support of applications.

IT Environment – Knowledge of an organization's IT purposes, activities and standards; ability to create an effective IT environment for business operations.

Work Experience

Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 5+ years of industry-relevant experience. At least 3 years of prior management experience is typically required. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered.
