We are seeking a full-time and part-time Wellness Nurse (RN and LPN Qualified) to help us meet the care needs of our assisted living and independent residents.

The Wellness nurse and an active member of the Resident Care Team and assists the Resident Service Director with the management of the community. The management scope includes direct supervision of Resident Care Associates as well as monitoring emerging health needs of residents as well as covering for resident care staffing as.

Reports to: Resident Service Director / Operations Manager
 

Functions & Responsibilities:

• Oversees Medication for our residents throughout SAM and LAM program.


• Communicates timely reports of resident status changes concisely and effectively.


• Responsible for responding to request for Wellness checks and or emergencies.


• Demonstrates the ability to make decisions independently.


• Demonstrates flexibility to meet changing work needs and demands.


• Oversees PCA staff assigned to shift to care to our residents.


• Maintains professional demeanor with colleagues, residents and family members at all times.


• Maintains strict confidentiality or resident information at all times.


• Demonstrates understanding and compliance with EOEA regulations.
