An acute care hospital in Maryland is actively recruiting for an Neonatal ICU Assistant Nursing Manager to join their nursing team.

The Neonatal ICU Assistant Nursing Manager will work at a 370+ bed acute care hospital located in Maryland that is known for being one of the busiest acute care hospitals in the state. This Magnet designated hospital is continually recognized for their women services, fast-paced emergency department and extensive surgical services department. The Assistant Nurse Manager NICU will work alongside world-class providers and specialists all focused on delivering exceptional, quality care to patients throughout Maryland, Virginia, Washington DC and parts of Delaware. 


Reporting to the Clinical Director NICU, the Neonatal ICU Assistant Nursing Manager  will join the Women and Children Services team to oversee the Level III NICU. Responsibilities of the Neonatal ICU Assistant Nursing Manager include overseeing day-to-day operations, acting as the department resource, staff scheduling, conducting new-hire interviews, ensuring regulatory compliance, and assisting new-hire and ongoing department education initiatives. 


The Neonatal ICU Assistant Nursing Manager should be a seasoned nurse with previous management experience and a clinical background working in a Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit NICU.  The Neonatal ICU Assistant Nursing Manager is eager to lead, educate, and mentor a nursing team.
