An accredited Critical Access hospital located in the Eastern region of Maine is currently searching for an experienced Urology Physician to join their advanced healthcare team.
This full-serviced Critical Access hospital is home to over 20 licensed beds and is proud to offer exceptional primary and acute care services such as Family Practice, Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Urology, Otolaryngology (ENT), General and Minimally Invasive Surgery, Orthopedics, Pain Medicine, and a fully-equipped Sleep-Lab. Since its opening over 50 years ago, this state-of-the-art Critical Access Hospital has become a vital part of the community’s healthcare initiatives by providing inpatient and outpatient clinical services.
The Urology Physician will join a clinically advanced team of healthcare professionals within the Urology department. The Urology department is accustomed to diagnosing and treating multiple kinds of urologic procedures including urologic cancer, kidney stone treatment and prevention, treatment during incontinence issues, male fertility services, urinary tract infections, and other disorders of the kidneys, bladder, prostate, and external genitalia. The Urology Physician will have a comprehensive understanding of endoscopic and open surgery of congenital and acquired conditions of the reproductive and urinary systems.
