Reporting to the Nurse Director of Medical Surgical Services, the Acute Care Nurse Manager will oversee nursing and operations for three inpatient unites totaling 75+ beds and a dedicated team of over 95 FTEs. The Assistant RN Director Medical Surgical is responsible for hiring and firing of staff, budgetary oversight, and leading process improvement and professional development efforts. This comprehensive role includes responsibility for clinical, administrative, and unit operations related to patient care on the unit as well as the long-term vision for the service line. The ideal candidate is BSN-prepared with several years of inpatient clinical management experience.
