A reputable opportunity is for a Medical Lab Technologist now available at a Non-profit hospital part of a larger health system in central Virginia. With day shifts and evening shifts available.

The Medical Lab Technologist will be part of a hospital who aims to provide quality healthcare in a small community setting. The state-of-the-art facility is committed to meeting the needs of the community through quality cost effective healthcare. Medical Lab Technologist aids hospital staff deliver efficient results to provide quality patient care in a friendly workforce. The Medical Lab Technologist will have plenty of opportunity to grow if desired within the hospital system. The hospital is home to over 600 beds and provides a comprehensive care of services meeting all of the patient needs.

The Medical Lab Technologist will be working at their own pace independently in the lab while collaborating with providers, nursing staff and laboratory staff. The Medical Lab Technologist will run and assess lab tests within Chemistry, Hematology, Coagulation, Blood gas, Urine and fluid analysis. The next Medical Lab Technologist will perform routine medical laboratory tests for the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease. This position supports the Laboratory Manager/Director.
