An exciting opportunity is available to become a Hospital RN Surgical Services Educator at a large and well-established hospital. 

Share your knowledge and expertise as the Hospital RN Surgical Services Educator  to teach and guide hospital nurses in the safe and appropriate delivery of patient care during surgery. This hospital has over 200 beds and has been serving San Diego County for over 50 years.  The hospital provides many services to its patients such as family medicine, cancer services, and orthopedics. The Hospital RN Surgical Services Educator will report to the Director of Clinical Education. The Educator will work with many staff members throughout the facility. This person will participate and collaborate with managers and directors in various departments to ensure staff is educated and performing clinical duties properly. The Hospital Educator will also communicate with nurses daily and new nurses during orientations. 

In this engaged role, the Hospital RN Surgical Services Educator will play a vital role in overseeing nursing staff and administration throughout the hospital and provide coaching, mentoring, and counseling to nurses as needed. The RN Educator will have the opportunity to assess nursing practice in the surgical unit and analyze its impact on patient outcomes. The RN Educator will also manage and direct Surgical Services orientations, skills training, and staff education records.
