As a leader within Supply Planning, this role will include introducing new ways of thinking, identifying, and delivering advancements in digital capabilities, and strengthening data-driven decision making across supply planning through process standardization and tool development.  Strong project management skills will ensure this incumbent brings solutions from ideation to execution to  standardization.  This role will collaborate with all Supply Chain functional areas to evaluate and deliver optimized solutions to improve our ability to deliver to our customers through influencing the organization when change is required to support key objectives and deliverables.  This individual will use data analytics and performance metrics to define and deliver on strategy development and strengthen end-to-end Supply Chain connections. 

Your Key Responsibilities Include:


  • Own, drive, and improve inventory management practices ensure strong connections with the end-to-end supply chain functional areas.   Ensure strong collaboration and lead continuous improvement efforts to provide the full Supply Chain common methodology in managing all inventory operating components

  • Process owner and system matter expert for core planning processes include, but not limited to, product segmentation, adherence to schedule, adherence to plan, cycle length management, and supply planning alignment practices with manufacturing to volume, cycles, sequence, and scheduling practices

  • Ideate, design, build, and implement digital solutions for stronger visualization, to key performance metrics

  • Deliver new data-driven solutions for current planning processes that deliver quicker decision making and process execution

  • Provide leadership for enhancing and improving planning processes and tools to meet user and business requirements in timely, cost-effective manner.  Efficiently satisfy business, supply chain and customer requirements

  • Accountable for compiling, analyzing, and interpreting end-to-end customer supply chain processes to make strategic and tactical recommendations to Planning business teams in order to enhance K-C's service delivery to customers

  • Develops and implements supply chain strategies that will result in lower working capital, improved customer service performance, & improved margins

  • Manage large, complex projects requiring the coordination of resources, budgets, DTS, and deadlines

  • Experience working in a global or similarly structured organization, supporting organizational change processes, guiding, and coaching peers and/or junior level colleagues, in program/project/process administration, and in customer supply chain strategies, Logistics and Supply Chain

  • Devise/own team governance processes within the Supply Planning Capabilities and Strategy team

  • Own, Facilitate, and coordinate planning and DTS (IT) work-flows and requirements in support of key Supply Planning deliverables/projects

  • Fluent/capable in developing Excel based solutions (PowerQuery, PowerBI, Excel macros)

You Also Possess:


  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics/Supply Chain, Business, or related fields

  • +10 years of work experience holding multiple Supply Chain roles including project involvement and leadership

  • At least 5 years of experience utilizing SAP (APO-SNP preferred)

  • Working knowledge of core Supply Planning processes and SAP/APO functionality

  • Experience working on cross-functional or sector project teams

  • Demonstrated ability to organize resources and analyze alternatives to make effective decisions

  • Working knowledge of supply chain end-to-end connections/interactions

  • Willingness to challenge the status quo and facilitate different perspectives to drive solutions

  • Ability to influence without authority

  • Project management experience orchestrating large Supply Planning projects coordinating  multiple cross-functional team members
