Shipper Receiver 3 at Rogers Corporation in Carol Stream, Illinois

Job Description:

Summary:

** 2nd Shift Hours - Monday through Saturday (1:30 PM - 10:00 PM) / 5/% shift differential **

Assist in all shipping/receiving functions (as required) to assure that all materials are shipped and received in a timely manner.

Essential Functions:

• Package and receive materials in accordance with applicable procedures.


• Communicate with various departments regarding product quality issues, material availability and processing issues.


• Load and unload trucks using a fork lift. Operate these fork lifts safely in accordance with Rogers established procedures.


• Work with engineering and production on continuous improvement/Six Sigma projects as needed.


• Maintain a safe work environment (5S and clean-up work area).

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.


• 1 year shipping department experience.


• 1-2 years fork lift experience.


• Attention to details.


• Good communication skills.


• General computer skills.


• Must be able to lift 70 pounds.


• 3-4 years fork lift experience.


• 3-4 years shipping department experience.
