Job Summary
A senior level role with accountability to develop vision, implement plans and lead execution of IT and data strategy to support Pioneer's business strategies and mission. The VP of IT is instrumental in in creating a culture of customer orientation to deliver best in class IT solutions and infrastructure. This includes staying abreast of emerging technologies that can improve enterprise performance and collaboration
Responsible for leading a team of professionals, this role has a primary responsibility to help the organization deliver optimal return on investment and maintain the utmost security standards to protect the its assets. This position works closely with other internal stakeholders to understand the Company's short and long-term technology needs, including the identification of solutions to meet those needs.
Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities

Partner with senior leadership and a diverse group of stakeholders to implement effective technology strategies and solutions that meet business needs. Ensure consistent, objective, and cost-effective performance that demonstrates value to the organization.
Provide leadership to the IT team. Develop talent for current and future needs of the business, including attracting, retaining and developing talent. Foster a culture that promotes ethical practices and core values and behaviors. Develop performance goals and objectives for direct staff that are aligned with organizational goals.
Facilitate the prioritization of projects and requirements among competing business interests.
Assess performance of existing systems to determine operating costs, productivity levels and upgrade requirements. Recommend and determine the company's long-term system and infrastructure needs. Prepare and document various types of tactical plans, cost benefit analyses, capital justification plans, and process improvement initiatives.
Ensure adequate IT security and controls are in place. Oversee the development and testing of IT business continuity plans.
Oversee and/or manage outside vendors. Negotiate, or participate in the negotiation of service level agreements with IT vendors; monitor services delivered to ensure agreed targets and standards are met.
Lead the development and implementation the annual IT budget. Define and disseminate annual operating metrics and improvement targets, delivering and driving budgeted key performance indicators.
Participate as a member of the senior leadership team to develop, formulate, and execute both long and short-range operating plans, policies, programs, and objectives. Serve as creator or key contributor to developing project plans, schedules, and dates, implementing the appropriate degree of management given the size and complexity of the project.
Ensure compliance with any and all federal, state, and local regulatory bodies.
Keep current with trends and issues within the IT industry. Advise, counsel and educate executives and management on their competitive and financial impact.

Work Environment

Position is located either remote or in one of the operating divisions.
Education/Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field; MBA a plus
10 years IT leadership experience in a global, complex manufacturing environment
Prior experience implementing enterprise-wide solutions in manufacturing
Excellent interpersonal, communications, public speaking, and presentation skills
Strong leadership and team building skills with a demonstrated track record of leading teams to the achievement of superior results
Practical knowledge and experience utilizing best practice technologies
Solid working knowledge of capital budgeting
Ability to generate respect and trust from staff and external constituencies
Strong personal integrity and a collaborative style; capable of building and sustaining productive, effective working relationships and highly professional image and presence
Strong financial and / or accounting acumen, e.g., budgeting, business analysis, etc.
Strategic technology thinker with a thorough understanding of how a variety of complex business systems interface and work together.
An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
