Join our Team! WebsterRogers LLP has an immediate opening for a System Administrator in our Florence, SC office.  This position will work with our IT staff on the administration of our server infrastructure.  This position is responsible for preventive maintenance, implementation, and support to ensure system stability and availability, and to minimize downtime. 

System Administrator responsibilities:


  • Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization

  • Install and upgrade computer components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation processes

  • Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues

  • Provide documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure

  • Perform or delegate regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures

  • Assist with helpdesk support efforts, making sure all desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruptions

  • Responsible for capacity, storage planning, and database performance


  • Associates/Bachelors degree  or equivalent work experience

  • 5 years experience working with Windows Servers

  • System administration and IT certifications in Microsoft, or other network related fields are a plus

  • Working knowledge of virtualization, Hyper-V and/or VMWare

  • Strong knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware, and networking protocols

  • Experience with scripting and automation tools

  • Experience with Microsoft Windows 10

  • Experience with Windows server up to/including 2019

  • Experience with MS Office 2016/2019/365

  • Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy Management

  • Working knowledge of SQL Server 2014 or higher

  • Working Knowledge of MS Exchange 2016/2019 server

  • Ability to write SQL queries to store, sort, and retrieve data preferred

  • Experience with Microsoft 365 including Azure and Teams
