Job Description:

Senior Inventory Analyst will support inventory-carrying properties and assess Safe Harbor Inventory Training & Development needs. This role will help establish structure at the property level to track, monitor and easily audit financial implications of inventory by property. This position delivers training tactics in the form of training as well as support of SHM standard operating procedures across the company for purposes relating to inventory management as well as on-site support. Inventory Analyst will report to the Inventory Integrations and Training Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform data analysis and audit inventory-carrying propertys reports to confirm accuracy, correct margins, ensure appropriate processes are being performed, monitor inventory levels, and maintain inventory integrity.Conduct onsite visits for new hire training and inventory counts as well as existing properties to audit for daily, weekly, monthly process, and train staff on proper procedures and troubleshooting techniques.Manage monthly cycle count process based off analysis of each locations inventory and scrutinize the submissions for clerical errors or suspicious mistakes.Establish min/max value of inventory by property based off of service revenue and inventory turns. Review product assortments and confirm properties are maintaining item levels that coincide with order point schedules based off of season and inventory turns.Work quarterly on dead stock purge to ensure stock is rotated and ordered correctly. Ensure proper handling of purge process and monetary return reflected back to property.Onsite visits during Year-End process to audit counts and review start-to-finish process as a third-party auditor.Work with Marketing to establish Safe Harbor Marinas standards for ship store, retail store or stockroom image. Standardize merchandising tactics, item labeling, colors, signage, customer experience, and pricing.Understand Safe Harbors standard operating procedures, monitor property performance, ensure procedural compliance through training, and develop new procedures as needed.Ability to perform inventory reconciliations between sub-ledger and general ledger confirming accuracy.

Safety and Environmental Responsibilities
Follow SHM Safety and Environmental rules and complete required related training.Wear proper personal protective equipment as required for the task or work area.Report all accidents, injuries, spills and near misses immediately.

Minimum Technical Qualifications
3-5 years of marina processes and corporate policy experience (preferred)Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook)Bachelors Degree (preferred)Familiarity with accountingRetail and customer service experience (preferred)Travel required
