VCA Animal Care Center located in Norfolk, Virginia is looking for a Medical Director who enjoys practicing advanced medicine with a cohesive, tenured team.



VCA Animal Care is equipped with digital and dental x-ray, ultrasound, cold laser, in-house diagnostic laboratory, and ECG. In addition to our friendly team and fun "toys," we also offer the chance to work with the cutest patients. Our culture is to practice high-quality medicine in a low-stress, teamwork-focused atmosphere. Our hospital is nestled perfectly in Colonial Williamsburg and is close to the city, mountains, and beaches, depending on which direction you drive.



VCA Animal Care has proudly served in our community for over 30 years, earning a reputation for excellent patient care and customer service. In addition, we have enjoyed providing medical care for many of the military service members located at the Norfolk Naval station, the largest Naval Station in the world. Additionally, we have developed partnerships with the Peninsula SPCA and Cat Corner in Hampton.


This is an outstanding opportunity for a motivated veterinarian to continue practicing medicine while establishing the direction and medical quality of the hospital like a practice owner.
