Job Description:

Are you passionate about Healthcare Design and Healthcare Planning? BSA LifeStructures is seeking a Drafter that will assist with developing design ideas, graphic design, architectural documentation, and the delivery of assigned healthcare projects. This role will work from our Indianapolis studio.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Architectural design and planning process on projects. Assist in client engagement through all processes and tools.
  
  
  
  • Prepares Visualization Material from sketches and design specifications. 
  
  
  • Prepares design presentation documentation, design process documentation, and working drawings.
  
  
  • May present design to client or design committee and discuss need for modification or change.
  
  
  
  


• Project delivery and support provided
  
  
  
  • Participates in all design and construction phases of projects.
  
  
  • Identifies, communicates, and improves design processes with other team members.
  
  
  • Works within assigned workplan hours and/or asks for guidance.
  
  
  
  


• Minimize rework
  
  
  
  • Recommend alterations to design to improve quality.
  
  
  • Participates in project debriefs and lesson’s learned sessions.

    Architecture: Revit, AutoCAD, Sketchup, Bluebeam; Graphic Software: InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop
  
  
  
  

Education/Experience Requirements

• 1 to 5 years related experience required.


• Experience or interest in working with Healthcare helpful.
