Job Description:

Vector Security Networks Division is hiring a hybrid Project Coordinator. The Project Coordinator works with the Project Manager to facilitate completion of project tasks within customer requirements and time frames.

Main Responsibilities:


  • Channel communications effectively at all levels (internal & external) and record all interactions in an organized and efficient manner

  • Identify risks that could jeopardize project completion, customer relationships and recommend potential solutions

  • Create device layouts in PDF and Auto CAD and include layouts in project documentation materials

  • Schedule subcontractor, customer, and other onsite vendors for installation

  • Participate in project planning and progress meetings to remain current on project status and expectations

Key Skills:


  • Ability to understand, or learn to interpret site plans, including plans used by other trades, and commonly used symbols

  • Knowledge of burglar alarm/fire alarm/video surveillance/access control preferred

  • Team oriented, with experience working on teams

  • Experience and skills in organization, and follow up of high volumes of email and phone traffic

  • Able to self-manage, and plan own work

  • Knowledge of time management
