Slot Technician at Caesars Entertainment in Boonville, Missouri

Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for repairs, maintenance and monitoring the operation of assigned electronic gaming devices. Also is responsible for fills payout reserve containers and moving slot related equipment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures slot-playing guests are kept in play by providing friendly and timely service.
• Troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains slot-related equipment on the casino floor and in the slot shop.
• Participates in the installation, movement, and removal of slot-related equipment.
• Able to deal with high-volume customer interactions.
• Handles routine customer complaints and incidents.
• Keeps work area in a clean and orderly manner
• Ensures the safety and security of all customers and team members.
• Other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Previous slot tech experience or work/education in a related field preferred.
• Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressures and multi-tasking.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid state gaming license.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Ability to stand for long periods of time on a daily basis, walk to various areas of the casino, and be able to push, pull or move heavy objects with assistance.
• Work environment may include smoke and variable temperature, lighting and noise levels.
