Job Description:

Vector Security Networks is hiring for a Solutions Engineer (Remote) who will be responsible for evaluating customer needs and requirements and partnering with various internal departments to provide best possible solutions. Utilize functional product and technical knowledge to educate, problem-solve, and deliver guidance to existing as well as potential customers.

Main Responsibilities:

MSP Solutions Engineering


  • Support the sales process by collaborating with  NAMS, Sales Engineer, and customers from pre-sales through solution design and delivery.

  • Develop pricing strategies with the sales team to improve profit margins while keeping competitive in an evolving market with commoditized broadband services.

  • Support the sale process of VSN's solutions and suite of products to clients.

  • Participated in RFPs/RFQs to secure new deals.

  • Work closely with customers' Networking, IT Teams and business heads from pre-sales through solution design and delivery.

  • Meet with potential customers with our NAMs and SE to understand their business and goals and provide technical solutions.

  • Collaborate with the Sales team to identify and qualify business opportunities, identify key customer technical objections, and help develop strategies to resolve technical impediments.

  • Support multiple sales opportunities at any given time, in various stages of the process.

System Tasks:


  • Create new Company profiles/instances  and accounts in Vault.

  • Create and maintain cSOWs (Customer Statements of Work) in Vault

  • Provide customer facing pricing for all VSN Products

  • Create and maintain customer Rate Sheets

  • Build technical/financial reports using the queries downloaded from Vault

Partners/Vendors:


  • Provide scope for new opportunities to NIV & NOC Partner to obtain/negotiate pricing.

  • Perform business/technical reviews of partner/vendor SOWs.

  • Interaction with vendor account representatives as needed to ensure quality service, identify potential issues and to resolve any issues or concerns.
