Customer Service Representative at PPG INDUSTRIES INC in Sylmar, California

Job Description:

PPG Aerospace is searching for their next Customer Service Representative to work cross functionally within the division.
Key Responsibilities

• Entry of sales orders for products and services.
• Supervise Purchase Order entry as well as interact with internal warehouses in regards to quantities and PO's.
• Accurately identifies the type, amount and required date of product ordered and coordinates with materials/shipping to meet customer specific requirements.
• Coordinates resolution of non-conforming products and issues while quoting prices using standard pricing information and customer specific pricing agreements.
• Works with manufacturing to expedite orders to meet customer demand. Updates, maintains or completes customer information and order status.

Qualifications

• High school graduate; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1-3 years' of customer service or administrative experience.
• Microsoft Suite
• Perform basic mathematical calculations including decimals, fractions, and percentages.
• Wear proper PPE if within the facility environment.
