Youwill be the engineering project leader of one or more small or largedevelopment projects. You'll be the primary decision maker for programcost and schedule as well as a key stakeholder in addressing technical issuesthat may arise. You will lead prioritization of work packages, design goals andobjectives, and drive overall program performance for hardware on new andsustaining product development programs.
KeyResponsibilities
Project leader for various programs within the Military Avionics product portfolio
Lead program reviews
Perform project Earned Value Management & Risk/Opportunity Management
Engage and coordinate with staff and leadership from multiple organizations
Ramp-up/Sustain/Ramp-Down Project Staffing
Present Project Status and Technical information to internal and external customers
Identifying and address negative project performance trends
Address barriers impacting project performance

YOUMUST HAVE
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Aerospace, or Aeronautical Technology
8+ years' experience in Aerospace / Project Engineering
Due to US export control laws, must be a US citizen, permanent resident, or have protected status
WEVALUE
Robust experience with Project Engineering, Microsoft Project, and Earned Value Management
Strong management operating system that facilitates communication
Ensures that departmental core competencies include continuous PE skill development.
Understand of business objectives and more importantly the ability to interact with our customers
Work with functional leaders to prioritize resources and implement project objectives.
Persuade to influence other to accept new concepts, practices, and approaches
Business acumen and knowledge of current and emerging practices, methods, and information relating to discipline and application within the industry
Significant experience in engineering
