The Production Worker-Operator role is responsible for general assistance and safe handling of material being reworked to determine if its quality, dimensions are consistent with the appropriate specifications. Production employees will sort through good and bad products by using a variety of equipment, machines, work instructions and test equipment to perform a series of operations to correctly manufacture specified parts.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Comply with company Safety Policies and Procedures
Works with supervisors and teams to manage and prioritize work assignments/production schedules to ensure they are met
Use basic problem-solving skills to ensure stable operation of the equipment
Report problems or concerns with quality, processes, equipment and materials to Production Supervisor
Participate as an active member of the production team and manufacture products
Follow detailed manufacturing instructions, processes and procedures
Maintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions
Willing to operate and/or maintain a variety of operating units, work shifts, weekends, and overtime in a heavy industrial environment
Regular attendance, timeliness and scheduling flexibility
