We are a fast-growing startup founded about 8 years ago in Petaluma, CA! We design and develop Optical Transceivers, small but very powerful devices that transmit/receive data and are VITAL for the telecom industry! Our solutions have been very successful and for that reason, we're adding to our team and looking for an additional manufacturing Engineer to grow with our company! Long term growth and Equity
What You Will Be Doing You will be responsible for supporting the assembly, calibration and testing of Optical transceiver modules, with a focus on optical test parameters. You will perform regular analysis of factory data and use it to anticipate and solve manufacturing/quality problems.
What You Need for this Position 2+ years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer
Self-starter attitude and comfort in a hands-on environment, where you can demonstrate an ability to work with others
Execute Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Experience Providing technical support, including multi-level failure analysis for discrepant parts and assemblies. Drive to root cause and follow-up corrective action.

Object Oriented Programming experience
Experience with electronics/ electronic Schematics
