Job Details



  • Base Pay is starting at  $18.70/hr  increasing to $19.26 per hour after 90 days of employment;  then, increasing to $19.84 per hour once the training program is completed

  • Working Monday – Friday between the hours of 8am – 5pm Onsite (1817 JFK Blvd. #300)

  • Training Schedule Onsite: Total 3 – 4 months.

  • 1 week of classroom training and about 3- 4 months of side by side/ mentorship schedule

What part would YOU play in this mission??


You will be putting your education to play! As you receive a medical claim you will determine what type of provider the claimant needs to be scheduled with.



  • Conducting high volume outbound calls to claimants to schedule medical evaluation appointments,  follow ups and any other needs in the scheduling process

  • Delivers exceptional customer service at all customer touch point

  • Triage daily download of referrals and ensure appropriate worksheets are assigned to corresponding conditions as identified by the Veteran’s Administration office

  • Verify appropriate CPT and CLIN codes are assigned to each case

  • Obtain medical history for specific conditions

  • Determine appropriate examinations, tests and specialists required for each case

  • Schedule appointments for examinees including follow-up appointments and rescheduled appointments

  • Ensure all examinees and providers receive necessary documentation


 


What does it take to be qualified?



  • 1-2 years of STRONG Customer Service background in a fast paced environment  

  • 1-3 months of medical assistant background or equivalent medical terminology background

  • High School Diploma / GED Required

  • Strong Communication/ Customer Service Skills

  • Highly driven with the ability to learn quickly

  • Computer Literacy  – Working with Dual Monitors and multiple software’s (Word, Outlook, Excel)

  • Proven ability to plan and organize work load

  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced work environment

  • Good follow through skills

  • Must possess the ability and flexibility to work early morning, evening, and/or weekend shifts
