Server Assistant/ Food Runner/Busser

Reports to: Food and Beverage Manager/ Banquet Manager

Status: Hourly plus Gratuity

Manufacturers Golf and Country Club is seeking qualified individuals who are interested in working in an upscale hospitality environment. Service Team Members will ensure that Member and guest expectations, service, and overall dining experiences at MGCC are maintained daily and consistent with the Manufacturers Brand. As a member of the food and beverage team, service team members will help provide an unforgettable dining experience for both Members and their guests. Applicants with experience working for superior hospitality organizations will be strongly considered.

Job Summary:
We are seeking friendly, pleasant people committed to high standards of customer service with attention to detail. We operate a busy golf course, member dining area, golf patio, and pool pavilion. The Service Team Members define the guest experience and are knowledgeable of the club and our offerings. The ideal candidate has a passion for hospitality, the ability to multi-task, and familiarity with high-touch customer service. We have both full time and part time positions available to join our team.

Food Runner Duties:

Deliver food orders to members quickly and accurately
Set up, operate, and break down kitchen areas used for service
Communicate with both Front of House and Back of House managers to provide information when needed
Uphold sanitation and food safety principles
Bus tables by removing dirty dishes and trash
Check in with members to ensure their experience is satisfactory
Relay reports of member satisfaction to the management and relevant parties
Ensure members have all the appropriate tableware they need to properly enjoy their food
Assist setting up tables before service with appropriate utensils, napkins, and decorations
Handle various impromptu requests from customers

Essential Requirements:

Possess a basic knowledge of excellent service standards as well as etiquette.
Possess good communication and guest relation skills
Available to work weekends, evening shifts and major holidays
Mandatory compliance with all safety regulations, procedures, policies, and rules
Regular and predictable attendance
Always arrives punctually in full uniform with a neat & professional appearance
Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, carrying, bending, reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching
Able to lift to 20 pounds without assistance and more than 50 pounds with assistance.
Must be able to multitask several different actions at once
Must be able to follow directions, read, and write
Experience with a full-service country club operation preferred
