The successful candidate is an experienced, hands on senior project manager, who understands and manages the delicate balance of ensuring profitable growth of Sapiens' business in a defined project, ensuring quality project delivery, and achieving financial targets while assuring that customer satisfaction and loyalty are optimized.

The successful candidate will work tightly with the other departments, in full coordination internally, communicate with the customers and supervise the project work, timeline and constraints while working with the customer's assigned Account Manager on existing customer opportunities and with Sales on new customers acquisition.

Job Responsibilities


  • Management of multiple Sapiens Reinsurance programs/projects.
  • Responsible for ensuring that customer projects are delivered in scope, on-time, in superior quality and on-budget.
  • Utilize project management methodologies or relevant supporting software in the planning, scheduling, reporting and change management of the projects.
  • Forecasting and managing the Services organization P&L
  • Manage project managers, business analysts, technical experts, product experts and project admins.
  • Oversee all projects from business requirements acquisition to a successful go-live
  • Create, monitor and execute project plans.
  • Estimate and create project budgets including but not limited to: tracking and monitoring project cost, review of budgets and costs with customer and internal management.
  • Negotiation of annual or project-duration budget based on planning assumptions may also be required.
  • Work closely with Reinsurance PMO and Finance to reflect expected revenues and create resource plans.
  • Define and Audit implementation processes
  • Manage customer expectations and deliverables including, as appropriate, client issues management and escalation.
  • Report, document and manage risks and risk mitigation activities.
  • Expand the customer relationship beyond the existing projects.
  • Leads and conducts all post-project closure activities (sign-off, lessons-learned, etc.)
  • Ability to travel up to 50% time.

Skills and Experience


  • 10+ years of experience in leading software projects deliveries based on a product or platform.
  • Prefer several years background in the P&C or Reinsurance industry
  • Experience with all aspects of project management practices including use of Microsoft Project or Sciforma
  • A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has ability to manage and prioritize concurrent work assignments
  • Experience in leading managers providing coaching and mentoring and recruiting/replacing as needed
  • Strong business orientation, experience in direct interaction with customers
  • Solid technical aptitude
  • A history of delivering projects meeting requirements, on schedule and on budget
  • Ability to respond to and understand client's needs in terms of the Services IT provides, and explain and apply cost-effective technology alternatives to meet them.

  • Experienced in working in a matrix organization; excellent communication with peers as well as customers
  • Clear oral, written, and presentation communication skills
  • Motivated to succeed with a can-do approach.
  • PMP certification - preferred
