Allegheny College, a small selective national liberal arts college, invites applications for the position of Assistant Dean of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
The Assistant Dean of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion is a grant funded, full-time, exempt position and will report to and work closely with the senior diversity officer of the College (Dean of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion). The Assistant Dean of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion supports the development, implementation, and assessment of campus-wide professional development and training initiatives to promote inclusive excellence and intercultural competence. The Assistant Dean supports the identification, design, and implementation of resources, training modules, workshops, presentations, programs, and services that will cultivate and sustain diverse, equitable, and inclusive environments for learning, working, and living across the College. This individual will join a dynamic team of colleagues in the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (ODEI) which includes the IDEAS (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, Access, & Social Justice) Center.
