What You Will Be Doing - Develop new carrier accounts and they have adequate capacity for their market.
- Work with other internal teams to maintain carrier contracts are up to date and current.
- Constantly monitor the market and report any changes or shifts.
- Sourcing new accounts via referrals, previous relationships, cold calling.
- Work with other departments such as operations, finance, and marketing to mange all costs for client accounts.
What You Need for this Position - Drayage Sales experience
- Carrier Sales and Carrier Procurement experience
- Sales Management experience
- Procurement experience
- 3-5 yrs of logistics experience
- Must have some knowledge of DOT rules and regulations.
- Must have great Communication skills, Net-working skills, Negotiation skills.
