What You Need for this Position - 10+ years of experience applying Systems Engineering in a development or production program
- Able to obtain Secret government clearance
- BS or MS degree in Engineering (Systems, Mechanical, Electrical) or Computer Science
- Experience with SysML and Cameo Enterprise Architect and/or MagicDraw
- Experience applying UL 4600, ISO-26262, MIL-STD-882, or similar safety specifications
- Experience applying model-based analysis and simulation using tools such as MATLAB
- Experience with autonomous robotic systems, DoD, Government, and/or Aerospace
What You Will Be Doing - Develop and improve Systems Engineering processes for the company that are appropriate for all levels of system development - from small R&D projects to large systems
- Apply Systems Engineering to support the analysis and verification of system safety and performance
- Apply Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) techniques to improve the practice of Systems Engineering
- Work with stakeholders at all levels to ensure systems requirements are captured, maintained, and verified
- Capture software and hardware architecture details in modeling tools which are used to communicate complex concepts of system behavior and structure
- Travel up to 10-15% of the time (domestic and international possible)
