Job Description:
Meyer Utility Structures, an Arcosa Subsidiary, is currently seeking a CNC to join our manufacturing facility in Steele, AL. As a CNC Programmer, you will develop, evaluate, and improve the production processes and methodologies used to manufacture new and existing products. This position will focus on CNC programming and provide problem-solving support to production.
What you’ll do:
Develop, maintain and improve manufacturing processes to meet customer requirements
Effectively create and troubleshoot CNC programs for the designated machines
Provide CNC expertise to support the manufacturing floor
Provide support to the design team to improve quality, manufacturing issues, and cost performance
Support quality systems and customer certification initiatives by participating in project teams for continuous improvement
Follow established safety and environmental procedures to ensure a clean, safe work environment
Help develop, maintain and improve departmental measures
Perform other duties as required
What you’ll need:
Associate's degree in Manufacturing Technology Preferred
Minimum 3 years of CNC programming experience
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects
Solid Works experience desired
Experience in Robotic weld programming preferred
Comprehensive knowledge of metals manufacturing and tooling
Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment
Demonstrated skill in problem-solving techniques, including team problem solving
