We are seeking an HR Generalist to join our CA team!

(This is a Hybrid remote position in Vallejo, CA or San Francisco, CA)

WHAT You’ll Do:

The HR Generalist will partner with the Regional HR Manager to provide broad HR support to our CA and WA teams. You will work with staff members, providing an exceptional and supportive experience including but not limited to onboarding support, performance management, job descriptions, employee relations, training, compliance, etc.


  • Build and maintain strong relationships with both staff members and managers.

  • Coordinate the new hire orientation process and may serve as a back up to the Regional HR Manager in presenting portions of New Hire Orientation.

  • Manage the Onboarding & Offboarding process through our HRIS system ensuring all pre-hire activities have been completed, monitoring the completion of onboarding paperwork including timely completion of I-9 document(s) and coordinating the offboarding process, exit interviews, processing all appropriate separation documentation.

  • Support the Regional HR Manager in responding to employee relations concerns, People Policy questions, developing job descriptions and in implementing best practices.

  • Support the annual performance review process, feedback cycle, and New Hire intro review processes.

  • Participate in HR related projects and/or perform other duties, as needed.

WHAT You’ll Need:


  • Minimum 3 years of progressively complex and broad-based Human Resources experience.

  • Demonstrated success in handling employee relations matters.

  • Strong technical aptitude. Proficiency with MS Office Suite.

  • Experience working with HRIS systems.

  • English/Spanish fluency preferred but not required.

  • Credit union or banking experience is a plus.

  • Ability and willingness to work beyond normal work hours, when needed with occasional travel up to 15-20%.

  • Comfortable working in a Hybrid / Remote environment.
