Allegheny College, a small selective national liberal arts college, invites applications for the position of Building Coordinator for the departments of Business & Economics, Environmental Science and Sustainability, and Political Science located in Carr and Quigley Halls. The position is a full time, non-exempt position.


The Building Coordinator supports faculty who teach and/or have offices in Carr and Quigley Halls and faculty who are in the Departments of Business & Economics, Environmental Science and Sustainability, and Political Science. The Building Coordinator spends 2.5 days each in Carr and Quigley Halls. Responsibilities include maintaining the central administrative office in each building, supervising student workers, monitoring department budgets, and scheduling building and departmental events.

  • The ability to work well with people and handle interruptions throughout the workday

  • The ability to work with various offices across campus
