You will be responsible for leading a team of marketing leads & managers to drive product adoption, revenue growth, and customer retention for our global small business audience, contributing to the overall success of the company. The ideal candidate is an analytical, strategic and creative leader who has the ability to work across multiple marketing disciplines and cross-functional teams. They possess an understanding of the SMB audience and have demonstrated ability to translate business objectives & customer insights into successful marketing strategies. They are comfortable working in matrixed organizations and pride themselves on being agile, flexible and thriving in ambiguity. And they have strong experience leading large teams and influencing stakeholders to drive meaningful results.
Head of Small Business Marketing, Growth Responsibilities:
Lead marketing strategy and creative execution to deliver on Growth Marketing programs for small businesses. Inspire team to think strategically, innovate and build an integrated experience across the customer journey
Develop strong partnership with the Small Business Group (SBG) leadership team. Identify and align on marketing priorities, and ensure teams are set up for success to deliver against key priorities
Build strong relationships across the broader business marketing teams. Identify synergies that help build a holistic small business experience across all marketing channels (e.g. web, social, education)
Lead and grow a high-performance marketing team, leading with empathy and focusing on team empowerment
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience working with data - results- and solutions-oriented
11+ years experience in B2B marketing
Knowledge of online advertising industry and/or small & medium businesses
Experience working across multiple teams and stakeholders
Experience with global programs
Experience transitioning between strategy and execution
Preferred Qualifications:
Performance marketing experience, demonstrating results across marketing objectives
Strong understanding of and experience with SMB marketing and the SMB audience
Direct first-hand experience with managing Facebook campaigns or using other paid online media
15+ years experience in B2B marketing
Obsessed with keeping things simple and to the point. Translating complex concepts into easy-to-understand materials is key
Proven track record of "moving fast" and delivering on tight deadlines
7+ years experience in building and leading teams
