Job Title: Access Control Specialist
Business Line: Learning Care Group
Job Description:
Assumes the overall responsibility for the management and daily operations related to Doors and Door Access (including keypads) within the Learning Care Group account. This position is responsible for coordination and management of installation, troubleshooting, repair, and replacement of security and door access systems. Candidate will be managing work completion by efficiently coordinating with third party vendors, school directors, and customer's IT department. Responsible for providing customer follow-up and managing overall provider performance.
Position Duties / Responsibilities:
Manage assigned work orders to completion, follow-up with vendor and client.
Communicate/escalate with appropriate parties (FM, customer, vendors, LCG IT, etc.) as needed
Troubleshoot door access issues to determine root cause. Dispatch to appropriate door/lock/keypad/IT
Coordinate door, lock, and keypad maintenance and repairs with Schools, LCG IT, and third-party suppliers
Cross-functionally lead and manage standard follow up meetings and reporting with third-party suppliers and customer
Ensure invoicing for services is received within the required timeframe. Resolve third-party invoices by working with providers and Accounts Payable
Maintain documentation related to keypads and door access
Minimum Requirements:
Include the minimum entry-level requirements to perform the duties of the position
None required, BA Degree Preferred
3-5 years in Facility Management
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspond accordingly. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumferences, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
