High West Distillery & Saloon is on the lookout for a Seasonal Food Runner to support our service team with delivering a welcoming, fun and distinctive guest experience to our customers. The ideal candidate is friendly, hardworking, reliable and able to maintain composure in a fast-paced environment. Please note that we are taking every precaution to keep our team and guests safe and healthy in regards to Covid-19. The health and wellbeing of our team and our guests is our main priority.

This is a full time position at High West.

Responsibilities: 

• Accurate and timely set up of kitchen areas for lunch and dinner service as directed  




• Pays attention to detail of Expo set up, replenishes Mise en Place on a regular basis and as directed 




• Supports service staff in executing proper sequence of service while moving with purpose, confidence and speed at all times  




• Occasionally prepares dessert dishes as directed 




• Anticipates business flows and needs and proactively sets up back stocks to minimize outages and service disruptions




• Works diligently with service and kitchen team and communicates effectively with other support staff to maintain high level of guest experience throughout service




• Performs additional tasks as requested such as bussing and kitchen support  




• Maintains station cleanliness and sanitation standards in both FOH and BOH  




• Completes set-up, side work and closing tasks as assigned and/or directed in a timely manner 




• Seeks approval Server or MOD prior to dismissal 

Minimum Qualifications 

• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed (must have flexible schedule).  




• Commitment to deliver an outstanding customer experience




• Effective communication skills  

Preferred Qualifications 

• General knowledge and enthusiasm for craft distilling and spirits 

Physical Requirements/Work Environment: 

• Works outdoors/indoors 




• Works in warm/cold climates 




• Works in high places 




• Works on wet surfaces




• Is exposed to loud noise, fumes and/or toxic chemicals 




• Works near moving, mechanical parts and lift truck traffic 




• Must be able to move up to 55 lbs 

Must be at least 21 years of age. Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time and work on a computer for extended periods. Lifting may be required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
