PRIMARY FUNCTION:

The Marketing Data Analyst II will be required to write and develop reports, analyze large volumes of data, derive KPI's, measure campaign performance and build executive reports and dashboards.

The Data Analyst will connect marketing and sales business objectives with measurable outcomes, to deliver actionable recommendations based on data analytics and ensure best practices in campaign planning/execution, lead generation, segmentation, and data management.

The individual will also lead work streams and collaborate closely with Sales, After Market, Lift and Marine divisions to deliver data extraction/creation of reports that will be used to drive decision making within the organization.

The individual will be responsible for troubleshooting issues stemming from digital marketing campaign performance reports as well as be able to develop various reports with multiple data sets. The analyst must also be proficient in data cleansing analysis, predictive analytics, mapping, utilize multiple tools, and work across multiple teams to help solve marketing and sales problems. This individual most be able to draw conclusions and present results in formal presentations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:


  • Ability to design & implement experiments to collect data
  • Ability to work in complex, fast-paced environment with significant ambiguity
  • Excellent statistical programming skills with large scare, multi-dimensional data
  • Validates analytical techniques by IT department
  • Responsible for analyzing sales and marketing data by interpreting results using a variety of techniques ranging from complex data aggregation via statistical analysis to data mining.
  • Develop and maintain accurate, visually engaging and highly actionable reports and dashboards.
  • Create, present and publish presentations for managers describing observations and insights drawn from data.
  • Monitors and maintains data quality within the marketing database, troubleshoot data anomalies, and escalate data issues to be resolved
  • Consult with Sales Leaders, Business Analysts and IT Dept., to answer key business questions through the development of scalable decisions support systems and the delivery of actionable ad/hoc analysis
  • Create predictive models and advise Sales Leaders regarding how to respond to insights and observations.
  • Stay abreast of industry and technology trends, write detailed technical documentation, troubleshoot issues, and help continuously enhance our marketing infrastructure.
  • Write and execute customer data reports for sales and marketing functions, such as mailing, prospecting and analysis. As requested sort, package and distribute marketing data to sales teams.
  • Provide CRM training and support to sales teams to ensure that standardized corporate processes are utilized across customer touch points to: capture new and existing customer account information, track coverage activities, manage sales leads and opportunities, and document the customer response to marketing campaigns.
  • Oversee the customer satisfaction survey process and work with managers to create ways to increase our overall satisfaction and loyalty scores.
  • Create reporting solutions to measure the effectiveness of marketing, advertising, and communications programs and strategies.
  • Perform administrative tasks within key marketing systems

    • Maintain sales rep assignments in GPAX and supporting materials (territory maps) based on customer strategy guidelines .
    • Maintain the integrity and increase the quality of all customer data in our ERP system. This data set includes, but is not limited to: Customer Name and Address, Contact information, Industry information, and Machine Population.

  • Marketing team support

    • Assist as directed with various marketing department support activities such as but not limited to: invoicing, purchase order processing, mail collection/distribution, filing, processing WebXtender information, copying, telephone coordination, orderly maintaining the marketing storage room and materials, etc.
  • Assist as directed in coordination and set-up of events including; displays for trade shows, exhibits, customer meetings and patio dinners.

      • Supports in production and distribution of assigned advertising projects such as direct mail, ads, presentation materials, and PowerPoint presentations and other campaign materials

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    Education:

    Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Information Management or related field with 3-5 years' experience or Master's Degree with 2 years of experience

    Physical:

    Ability to sit and utilize Laptop/PC for extensive periods. Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.

    Other:

    Strong analytical, presentation, communication skills are required; Experience using BI frameworks (e.g., Business Objects, QlikView, SPSS, R) and data visualization (e.g, Microsoft Power BI, SAS VA, Tableau); Familiar with marketing automation systems (e.g., Eloqua) and CRM (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce.com) and other related technologies; Knowledge of statistical methodologies and techniques; Must have excellent internal and external customer service skills; Proficient in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, macros and v-look ups; Detail-oriented and ability to manage multiple projects at the same time, in a fast-paced environment; Strong quantitative aptitude and experience with statistical analysis tools; Clear understanding of ROI analysis; Ability to write and prepare reports, and other necessary correspondence; Strong motivation and self-starting initiative is required; Some travel required; Valid driver's license
