Aerospace Product Information Management Process Specialist at PPG INDUSTRIES INC in Sylmar, California

Job Description:

PPG Aerospace is now hiring an Aerospace Product Information Management Process Specialist ! As an Aerospace Product Information Management Process Specialist , you will work cross-functionally with aerospace product platforms, marketing, and IT, supporting the global Aerospace SBU, while working with the global team, is responsible for creating and maintaining product data for the Product Information Management system. The PIM data will include essential product data, category classifications, technical specifications, marketing, sales, and channel-specific information.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage product data that will be used to support websites, eCommerce platforms, customer data requirements, and expansion of PPG and customer digital platforms.
• Coordinate activity with cross-functional teams and work collaboratively with all functions within the organization.
• Gather, analyze, and maintain aerospace product data across various categories for PPG Aerospace products.

• Clearly communicate PIM process, needs, and steps to ensure accurate product data for entry to PIM systems
• Understand and demonstrate competency in the procedures and principles of product data management and integrity. Proficient at digesting and analyzing data and understanding the impact of the data and its uses, in various systems.
• Support aerospace product platforms on data requirements to meet customer launch deadlines.
• Proactive interaction with aerospace product platforms, marketing, and IT to ensure data is accurate and available on time.

• US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
• Must be highly motivated, results, and detail oriented.
• Understand and demonstrate competency in procedures and principles of data management.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively, while prioritizing and executing tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Must have knowledge of business processes by functional area and business unit to ensure complete and accurate alignment of data domains.
• Bachelor's Degree and/or 2 - 4 years equivalent combination of education and experience dealing with ERP systems, product data, and knowledge of Informatica Product Maintenance Systems or relevant business experience.
