Job Description:

Pierson Computing Connection, Inc. (Pierson), a woman-owned company, continues to grow and is seeking additional light construction laborers to support AV technology installation, light construction, and low-voltage projects primarily throughout the East Coast. Salary/Wages/Hours/Benefits
AV Installation Technician I: $19-$22.50 per hour
AV Installation Technician Apprentices: $18-$20 per hour.
Work minimum 30 hours or more on average, with medical, dental, and vision insurance, and 401(k). AV Installation team members are paid for all travel and installation time, plus all expenses and meals are covered by Pierson ($40 meal per diem for overnight travel). Company vehicles are used for all travel and overnight stays are generally at Hilton-brand hotels or equivalent.

Job Summary
As part of a team, AV Installation Technicians and Apprentices install AV technology, such as interactive whiteboards and flat panels, classroom projectors, and sound systems.
All AV Installation positions have variable hours generally Monday through Friday. These positions require travel to Piersons clients primarily throughout the East Coast with overnight stays of three-to-four consecutive nights. AV Installation Techs and Apprentices are paid for all travel and installation time, plus all expenses and meals are covered by Pierson. Company vehicles are used for all travel, and overnight stays are generally at Hilton-brand hotels.
No experience with AV technology is required. Experience in light construction is preferred. Pierson will provide the training and the tools required to be successful.
Depending on experience, job duties include the following:
AV Installation Technician Apprentices
Deployment, distribution of materials Staging, unpacking product, attaching brackets, installation and documentation of low-voltage cabling Assist with hanging panels, AV cart assembly Trash collection, sorting, disposal Cleaning company vehicles
AV Installation Technician I
All the above Install wall brackets, projectors, speakers AV cart assembly Assist with cable pulls, computer deployment, whiteboard installation, wireless access points Test equipment, document installation, collect barcodes Tracking, returning Pierson-issued tools

Position Requirements
Must be at least 18 years old Able to proficiently use power tools Able to travel overnight for three to four consecutive nights, generally Monday through Thursday (generally home by Thursday or Friday afternoon). Schedules vary based on client requirements and are communicated in advance Possess a valid drivers license Able to pass a drug test and federal and PA State Police background/criminal history checks,* and able to obtain a PA child abuse clearance at Piersons expense

* At minimum, no misdemeanors in the past 5 years, no felonies in the past 10 years, and no violations described in Section 111 of the Pennsylvania Public School Code of 1949. Exclusions and exceptions apply.
