Our team is growing, and we are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this opportunity at NDX Tincher Dental Lab in South Clarksburg, WV for a Dental Laboratory Technician Trainee (Removables). Previous experience is not necessary; we offer paid, hands-on training!




The regular hours for this position are from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time.

General Description of Function
:  



The Dental Laboratory Technician I is a member of the dental laboratory team who, upon prescription from a dental clinician, constructs custom made restorative and dental appliances. The Dental Laboratory Technician will be responsible for the fabrication, alteration or repair of dental devices such as dentures or appliances.



Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:

• Read prescriptions and specifications received from dentist.


• Model work for removable cases


• Processing


• Investing and packing dentures, partials, night guards


• All other duties as assigned.           

• Excellent hand-eye coordination


• Strong ability to read, listens, comprehend, retain and execute on written and verbal instructions


• High level of organizational skill with the ability to prioritize work


• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English

• Required: High school diploma or GED equivalent

• Wet Grinder


• Sharp Tools/Instruments


• Investment material


• Lathe


• Hand piece


• Boil Out


• Acrylic

• Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and/or reach.


• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.


• Exhibit fine motor skills and/or perform repetitive motions.


• Read and interpret prescriptions and other required documentation.


• Vision capabilities: depth perception, attention to detail, and/or color.
