This is an exciting opportunity in Galesburg, MI for a:

Customer Engineering Product Advisor

(Hybrid/Remote) This role is expected to be, some blend of remote/onsite work.

Your impact will happen in these and other ways: 

• Partnering with OEM to develop and optimize transmission calibrations that meet/exceed their requirements for fluid economy, performance and drivability.


• Ensure engines meet the minimum integration standards through certification testing


• Gathering customer requirements and documenting new requests


• Working with product engineering to implement new functionality, and performing validation testing to confirm that system and functional requirements are met.
  
   

Experience:

• Minimum of 5+ years of Relevant work experience, preferably in related Engineering Discipline


• Class A commercial driver's license or ability to obtain one


• Familiarity with Vector tools such CANape and CANalyzer


• Basic understanding of vehicle drivetrain/powertrain systems and components


• Safety & Hazard analysis experience a plus


• Prior Senior or Lead Engineer equivalent work experience in a relevant discipline area is required with a demonstrated track record of technical problem solving and quality decision making.

Education, Licenses, Certifications: 

College, university, or equivalent Bachelor's degree in Engineering or other relevant technical disciplines is required
