The Director Case Management  will work in a hospital that has been growing over the last decade and aiming for advancement in Healthcare. Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, the Director Case Management  will be responsible for directing daily operations of the Care Coordination departments with responsibility for both inpatient and outpatient services and oversight of Nurse Care Managers within this hospital system. The Director Case Management  will provide effective leadership and works closely with physicians, department staff as well as managers and staff of other departments to guide operational direction, planning and coordination of the department services.

The Director Case Management will cultivate and maintain strong partnerships with post acute care providers as well as perform quality improvement measures and processes in collaboration with the Case Management Department and Utilization Review Committee. You will interpret medical information used in the processing of payments and claims and investigates denials by third party payers and crafts thorough appeals to justify medical necessity.
