Job Summary
Responsible for supporting transactions including land sales, acquisition of fee property, easements, surface leases, mineral leases across Vistra’ s holdings. Works with landowners and tenants and similar third parties for Vistra real estate related activities. Takes actions to protect real estate asset values and maximize revenues. Research Vistra real estate issues. This role tracks and reports on information related to real property owned by Vistra. Supports the Senior Vice President, Senior Director of Real Estate and Real Estate Manager. This role provides detailed tracking, reporting, property boundary maps, parcel ID lists, KMZ files, etc. and other informational tools.Job Description
Responsible for tracking, reporting of all Real Estate related deliverables for Vistra properties.
Responsible for creation of various maps, all-property related information, supporting the surveying process, supporting development efforts
Supports the researching of title, land sales, fee acquisitions, easements and contractors. Including title companies, surveyors, landman, etc.
Works with landowners and tenants on Vistra’ s behalf.
Supports negotiations for land sales, fee acquisitions, easements, relocations of facilities, utilities, O&G leases and other mineral related activities..
Verifies the accuracy of title, surveys and other real estate documents.
High School Diploma or equivalency
3+ years of real estate experience gained through job experience, college degree programs and/or certifications
Broad knowledge of real estate practices
Ability to maintain large amounts of data and produce reports to inform leadership and other business functions
Good written and oral communication; ability to persuade others
Good Microsoft office capabilities (PowerPoint, Word and Excel)
Ability to work with confidential information
Strong organizational, analytical skills
The successful candidate needs to have organizational, computer, teamwork skills and research and due diligence skills. A broad range of research, negotiations, understanding of title, interpreting and reading a survey will be beneficial.
**Pay grade and salary will be determined by education and experience.
•Organize directory of all owned properties
•Meet or exceed all annual business objectives (i.e., land sales, surface waiver, etc.)
•Meet or beat required timing of acquisitions and other negotiation timelines (i.e., road closure & vacates, facilities relocations, etc.).
•Meet or exceed annual revenue goals for sales, Oil & Gas Revenue and expenditure limits for Capital and O&M Expenditures
